Welcome to CUMU, Nevada State University!
Nestled at the foot of Mount Scorpion in Henderson, Nevada State University’s 511-acre campus is rapidly developing to meet their growing student population and 60+ dynamic programs. Through quality teaching, accessible degree programs, and a supportive learning community, Nevada State cultivates a holistic learning environment for all students. They are dedicated to helping advance the intellectual pursuits and economic mobility of their students for a better Nevada.
Nevada State’s buildings house energy-efficient, 40-student or smaller classrooms, and their open community spaces forward sustainable principles with solar panels, xeriscaping, and an organic teaching garden that also serves the campus cafe. Students have an abundance of opportunities to apply their course materials to the real world both inside and outside of the classroom, including internships and undergraduate research opportunities. Their campus offers expansive views of the Las Vegas Valley, the Strip, and the mountains beyond.
